The Magnesium Resorbable NovaMag Shield Technique: A Minimally Invasive Approach to Immediate Implant Placement
Timings
09:00-12:00
Dr Hassan Maghaireh
Content of Workshop
This topic not only emphasizes the innovative aspects of NovaMag but also aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of participants in applying these advancements effectively in their clinical settings. The NovaMag Membrane is produced from pure magnesium metal. Magnesium is a biodegradable metal that is resorbed by the human body without toxic residuals. Mg2+ ions released during the degradation process are naturally occurring component in human body and are responsible for many physiological processes. Due to inherent properties of magnesium metal, the NovaMag membrane provides a mechanically strong yet degradable material option for bone augmentation surgeries.
Aims and Objectives
- To introduce the NovaMag Resorbable Membrane, highlighting its composition, properties, and benefits in grafting procedures.
- To discuss the clinical applications of NovaMag Membrane and review current research and case studies demonstrating the use of NovaMag in comparison to traditional membranes.
- To provide participants with practical experience in handling and applying the NovaMag Resorbable Membrane in grafting scenarios.
- To teach clinicians the techniques for NovaMag membrane to ensure optimal integration and healing.
- To facilitate a collaborative environment where participants can share insights, experiences, and troubleshoot challenges related to the use of resorbable membranes in their practices.
