Aims:-

* Understand essential principles of oral surgery
* Principles of flap design
* Carry out routine surgical extractions
* Gain knowledge of the range of minor oral surgical procedures carried out in the dental practice setting
* Learn complications and ways to manage them

Outcomes:-

* Carry out routine surgical extractions
*Gain hands-on skills using models
* Recognise difficulty levels and act appropriately
* Refer to the appropriate service based on case complexity
