10:45 Rise of the Hybrid Heroes: Biology First. Creativity Second. Technology to Scale.

This lecture is the story of how I built a full‑arch system that could actually scale in the real world. I’m the co‑owner and clinical director of 12 full‑arch focused centres across Florida, and what I’ll share is the clinical foundation that made that growth possible: solid biology, smart bone management, and modern tech used in a practical way.

We’ll keep it grounded in what the literature supports, then translate it into what you do on Monday morning. That means peri‑implant biology, tissue stability, and how bone behaves around implants in full‑arch cases. We’ll walk through how I think about preserving bone, when regeneration is the right move, and how to choose graft materials and membranes in a way that’s predictable and repeatable.

On the workflow side, we’ll cover how CBCT planning, modern scanning protocols, 3D printing, and AI in prosthetic design help standardise steps, tighten fit, reduce remakes, and create consistency across multiple teams and locations. The goal is simple: make it easier for more clinicians to deliver a real solution for patients living with failing dentition, without lowering the clinical bar.

Learning Objectives
  • Use biology and evidence to guide full‑arch decisions
  • Apply key concepts from the literature on peri‑implant biology and tissue stability to improve predictability in hybrid cases.
  • Make smarter regeneration and material choices
  • Know when regeneration helps, how to match graft and membrane choices to the defect and the goal, and how to keep the approach practical and consistent.
  • Scale consistency with digital tools that matter
  • Use CBCT planning, modern scanning protocols, 3D printing, and AI‑supported prosthetic design to standardise workflows and improve efficiency across multiple centres.

12:00 Lunch and Exhibition
13:00 The Power of Pterygoids

Traditionally, a resorbed posterior maxilla would need multiple surgeries, including grafting to create sufficient bone for traditional dental implant placement.

With increased costs , treatment time and patient morbidity due to extensive bone grafting procedures often required in full arch implant reconstruction of the atrophic maxilla, an increased patient resistance to implant treatment has been noted. Using Pterygoid implants either on their own or in combination with Zygomatic and/or conventional implants in an All-on-X fashion is a well documented and evidence based treatment option reducing treatment time, morbidity and cost .

By anchoring into dense cortical bone, the pterygoid  implant can deliver exceptional stability, predictable outcomes, and long-term success—making it an essential tool for advanced implantology. The pterygoid implant offers a powerful solution for treating the severely atrophic maxilla without the need for sinus lifts or major grafting procedures

Furthermore with good primary stability these implants can be loaded immediately with SameDay teeth for immediate function .

This intensive session will take you through the rationale, anatomical considerations, and step-by-step surgical protocol for successful pterygoid implant placement.

If you want to elevate your full-arch skillset and offer a truly graftless posterior maxilla solutions - this is the session for you.

Learning Objectives
  • Understand that the pterygoid implant offers a powerful solution for treating the severely atrophic maxilla without the need for sinus lifts or major grafting procedures

  • Understand the rationale, anatomical considerations, and step-by-step surgical protocol for successful pterygoid implant placement

  • Learn with good primary stability, these implants can be loaded immediately for teeth in a day treatment solutions

  • How pterygoids can help achieve truly graftless posterior maxilla solutions.
