Further details about this event

Learn the predictable outcomes with Pterygoid Implants in a classroom environment. Perfect for professionals looking to deepen their theoretical. Learn amongst like-minded clinicians with the additional benefit of learning application on models.

Aims & Objectives

Aims
The aim of this two-day masterclass is to equip dental clinicians with a comprehensive understanding of minimally invasive, bone-driven implantology through focused training on Pterygoid and Trans-nasal implant techniques.

Objectives
-Perform detailed anatomical assessments relevant to Pterygoid and Trans-nasal implant placement.
-Evaluate anatomical limitations and interpret bone availability for minimally invasive treatment planning.
-Recognise indications and contraindications for Pterygoid, Trans-nasal, and alternative anchorage solutions.
-Apply bone-driven planning principles to manage cases with limited bone volume without relying on sinus lifts, bone grafting, or zygomatic implants.
-Differentiate traditional implant protocols from compressive implant systems, including their biomechanical and clinical implications.
-Establish appropriate protocols for immediate versus delayed loading based on patient presentation and implant stability.
-Execute model-based placement of Pterygoid implants using minimally invasive techniques.
-Practise Trans-nasal implant model placement while recognising anatomical landmarks and angulations.
-Apply The Bone Truss Bridge (BTB) concept on models.

Event Content

Course Focus: Minimally Invasive & Bone-Driven

You will observe experts and clinicians gaining clarity on the decision-making. You will train with Global experts who champion a bone-driven approach using minimally invasive principles.

During this programme, you will learn how to:

Conduct detailed Anatomical assessments.
Learn how to manage limited bone conditions using minimally invasive principles.
Oversee Pterygoid and Trans-nasal Implant Placement demonstrated by fellow delegates on models.
Differentiate between Traditional vs. Compressive Implant Systems.
Establish protocols for Immediate vs. Delayed Loading
