Presented by: Danny Cleary
Host: Kristina Vaitelyte, ADI Technical Representative
Date: 22 June 2026 7:00PM – 8:30PM

Join ADI Technical Representative - Kristina Vaitelyte and our speaker - Danny Cleary for another exciting Study Club webinar on Balancing Business, Boardrooms and Family Life! Open to all, don’t miss out!

This webinar will look at how Danny took his approach to starting up his lab 10 years ago, to going from having no clients and one scanner and most things analog to a fully digital laboratory with in-house milling and a dental lab name which people now recognise as specialising in crown, bridge and implanology including Full arch restorations where Danny also goes into surgery to carry out all on 4s.

All this would not have been possible if he hadn’t had made the jump and believed!

This was all made possible with his new family on the way, and some helpful clients who Danny trusted immensely.

(one of whom somehow convince Danny to join an implantology board which was another whole new learning curve)

LEarning objectives

By the end of this webinar, delegates will be able to:

  • Setting up your new lab, what risks gamble’s & knowledge you need into becoming recognised and successful.
  • Becoming a board member of a dental organisation. Why I would recommend anyone to try it at least once!
  • We all make mistakes! It’s how we learn! Full mouth rehabs and how to understand that anyone can learn how to do them but most people sprint before they can walk.

MORE ABOUT YOUR SPEAKER - danny cleary

I’m Danny Cleary 1 out of 3 directors and founders of DSD Dental Laboratory Ltd

I’ve been a dental technician for over 20years being the only job I have ever done. I started from being a plaster room technician to now owing my own lab. We set up DSD Dental Laboratory 10 years ago which is located in the heart of the jewellery quarter in Birmingham.

I have also been a board member of the ADI as the technical rep for 3 years and was the youngest to ever do that role.

You can say I’m obsessed with the job as if I’m not taking about teeth I’m talking about my beloved Aston Villa!

But in hindsight I’m just a lad from Birmingham who loves being a technician and pushes myself to know more and learn more!
