Be part of this exciting new chapter for the ADI and connect with fellow implant professionals from across Ireland.

This inaugural Study Club will offer practical clinical insights, case-based learning and the opportunity to share experiences in a relaxed, interactive environment. Whether you are new to implant dentistry or an experienced clinician, you'll gain valuable knowledge, network with colleagues and help shape the future of the ADI community in the Republic of Ireland.

Talk Summary

Successful implant treatment often begins long before implant placement. Hard- and soft-tissue deficiencies can present significant challenges, affecting both the functional and aesthetic outcome of implant therapy. In this practical, case-based lecture, Dr. Liliana Silva will explore contemporary regenerative approaches for managing compromised implant sites, drawing on her extensive clinical experience in guided bone regeneration and ridge augmentation. Delegates will gain valuable insights into treatment planning, defect management and evidence-based decision-making, helping them choose the most appropriate regenerative strategy for a variety of clinical situations and achieve more predictable long-term outcomes.

Learning objectives

  • Diagnose common hard-tissue deficiencies before implant placement.
  • Understand the indications and limitations of contemporary regenerative techniques.
  • Evaluate treatment options for horizontal and vertical augmentation cases.
  • Apply practical clinical decision-making principles to improve predictability and long-term outcomes.
