Covid-19 - Consensus Recommendation from ADI Committee

In order to help ADI members at this very challenging time, ADI Committee would like to issue the following consensus recommendation:

In order to avoid further spread of Covid-19, only emergency dental implant treatment should be carried out. Elective dental implant treatment should be delayed until further guidance is issued by our dental governing bodies.

In each of the countries of the UK the CDO has released a statement of guidance that is available on the GDC website. Please keep up to date with the rapidly evolving situation as things are changing on a daily basis.

This is an unprecedented situation and we hope to come together as a virtual community on the ADI Members' Forum. Support of each other’s health, both physical and mental, is essential so we can endure in spite of the challenges we will undoubtedly face over the next few months.
