Save the date for ADI Team Congress 2023!

At this year’s ADI Team Congress, delegates were treated to some fantastic resources, ranging from enlightening presentations and discussions to debates and hands-on workshops – it may have been the ADI’s most interactive Congress yet!

Set in the bustling city of Manchester, the 2022 ADI Team Congress was truly one to remember. The ADI was proud to see hundreds of dental professionals take full advantage of everything there was on offer. This included a number of highly-skilled and enthusiastic speakers, riveting lectures and an extensive list of exhibitors. 

It was the perfect event for the whole dental team, with educational content catered to dentists, dental technicians, dental nurses, dental hygienists/therapists and practice managers. For a brief recap of this exciting event, let’s look at what delegates had to say:

Dental technician Mat Beable comments: “I have attended the ADI Team Congress a few times in the past and I think it’s one of the best events in the field. I was very happy with the range of topics covered in the Technicians’ Programme and there were some very good speakers in the Plenary Programme too.” 

Delegate and dental nurse Jasmine Ehambaram shares: “Adele Holland and Leanna Best were fantastic in the Team Programme. They were very entertaining.”

Dr Kunal Shah, from LeoDental, also shares some feedback on how he found this year’s Congress: “My favourite session was Sonia Leziy’s. She also self-critiqued her work, and she had a lot of knowledge on why she was doing what she did. This is the first time I have attended the ADI Team Congress and I’ve really enjoyed it.”

Now, let’s hear from those who had contributed immense effort to make the 2022 Team Congress as fantastic as it was: 

Eimear O’Connell, Immediate Past President, comments: “We brought top speakers from all over the world to share their knowledge with us and push us to think outside our comfort zones.

“With the help of our industry partners we also hosted top clinicians giving hands-on classes to delegates. It was simply wonderful to have so many lovely social outings allowing us to relax after so many years being isolated from one another.”

 

The current ADI President, Amit Patel, also shares his thoughts: “This was a fantastic event – it was great to finally be able to meet up with colleagues from across the dental implant field.

“Everyone I spoke to seemed to really appreciate the educational programme and I certainly took plenty away that I can use in my own practice. Many congratulations are due to Eimear for putting together and presenting such an exceptional event.”

 

Dr Zaki Kanann, ADI President Elect, shares what his hopes were for the 2022 event:

“We wanted to make the Congress a little more interactive than our previous offerings.

“We held an engaging treatment planning session for dentists on the last afternoon, where a case was presented and the audience was asked to vote on what they thought the treatment involved. 

“This led to intense discussion and a ‘great debate’, which happened to be the title of the whole conference! This Congress culminated in a fantastic Gala dinner, which the ADI is now famous for. Feedback from colleagues so far has been excellent.”

So, what can delegates expect from next year’s Team Congress?... 

For 2023, the ADI is hosting their next Congress in England’s second largest city, Birmingham, on the 4th – 6th May at the Birmingham ICC. 

The ADI is planning to build upon the success of their 2022 event and deliver an even more exciting show for 2023!
