Day one of a three day course designed to take general practitioners to a point where they are able confidently to place and restore simple implants using the Bicon Implant system. The placement and restoration of simple dental implants should be in the remit of the General Practitioner. However, like all dental treatments, we must understand when, where and how to use them and when not to. The course will focus on treatment planning as well as the operational side of treatment. The Bicon Implant is an elegantly simple device such that it allows the practitioner to place and restore with ease and safety. The fact there are no screws removes many of the surgical and restorative complexities and massively reduces the well known complications such as screw loosening and abutment fracture.
Aims & Objectives
The participants should be able to identify the difference between simple and complex cases and keep wishing their own capabilities
be able to plan their cases using the appropriate diagnostic tools they have available in practice
be able to easily restore simple cases and understand when and where to use different restorative materials
be able to carry out simple implant dentistry from start to finish
