Customised 3D Titanium Mesh, Yxoss, is emerging as a compelling alternative to traditional block grafts in the field of bone regeneration. With its innovative design and adaptability, it offers significant advantages in restoring complex bone structures.
This lecture will explore the growing interest in customised bone regeneration, highlighting the benefits, clinical applications, and real-world experiences of using 3D Titanium Mesh.
Attendees will gain valuable insights into the future of bone regeneration, with firsthand accounts of successful cases and key considerations for incorporating this technology into their practice.
Biography
Dr Robert Felkler qualified from Queen Mary University of London in 2007. In 2009 he combined his general practice job with a part time Oral Surgery Staff Grade position in North Devon District Hospital. The same year, he also went on to start an MSc in Dental Implantology at University of Bristol.
Dr Felkler maintains his general practice by performing restorative and cosmetic dentistry and has done so since opening the Eledent Clinic with his family in 2013. His special interest lays within digital augmentation, where he uses the Yxoss system to regenerate bone. This protocol uses a customised printed titanium scaffold, which enables areas of the jaw that has undergone severe atrophy to be regenerated and to be predictably restored with dental implants. Subsequently Robert has been Invited to lecture on this topic.
A registered Implant Mentor recognised by the ADI, he is an active member of the Sloane Square and Tonbridge ITI (International Team of Implantology) and several study clubs. He also runs his own study club called the “Augmentation Academy” in South West London on a quarterly basis.
