President's Address

Following the success of previous ADI Members’ National Forums, I am delighted to announce the opening of registrations for our 2013 event. This unique event will provide Members with superb lectures from both experienced lecturers and newcomers to the podium as well as a fantastic opportunity to participate in the life of our successful and vibrant organisation.

This year’s programme covers a wide selection of topics of high clinical interest including complications, maintenance, flap design, sinus surgery, restorative implant treatment options for the edentulous jaws: overdentures, hybrid or fixed bridges, and choice of restorative materials. There will also be interesting Poster Board presentations on practice-related studies and implant research which will be accessible to view during break times.

The ADI’s Annual General Meeting will be held during the day, where we will review last year’s developments at the ADI. During the AGM I will have the pleasure of handing over the Presidency to my friend and colleague Philip Friel, and we will also announce the results of this year’s Committee elections.

Following the Members’ National Forum, the ADI will hold its 25th Anniversary Dinner at the Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge to celebrate the Association’s contribution to dental implantology in the UK for the last 25 years.

I look forward to welcoming you to London on 9 November for what I am sure will be a hugely successful and memorable day.
